LONDON, Thursday. The "Morning Post" in an editorial appeals to the Liberals to accept the fact that tariffs are ultimately inevitable and will be introduced either by the Conservatives or Labour, and urges them to join the Conservatives in the major task of lceeping out Labour, whose return would destroy British credit. The "Financial News" says: "The strongest resistance should be offered to any attempt to stampede , the country into high protection. The paper argues that te.mporary protection of some imports, and even export bounties, is preferable to import tariffs.
