WELLINGTON, Wed. In reply to a question in the House of Repre-qdn,tatives to-night by Mr J. A. Young (Reform, Hamilton), the Minister of Health, the Hon. A. J. Stallworthy, stated that the influenza prevalent at present was being carefully watched by the medical officers of the Department. The epidemic was not one that should cause apprehension, the Minister said, provided the victim took the necessary precautions. Answering Mr. W. E. Parry (Labour. Auckland Central), Mr Stallworthy said he did not consider there was any need to close the schools or the theatres.
