RIFLE SHOOTING
ARAWA CLUB RESULTS The Arawa Rifle Club held its usual weekly shoot on Monday last. The attendance was poor as only 16 members attended, but of these, 13 obtained 100 oi* over. During the evening, Mr. R. Jones, of the Rod and Gun Club, presented the following prizes for the past month: — Best aggregate for month-, R. Price (medal presented by Rotafy Club; highest points off the rifie on night of competition, W: Beamish (medal presented by Captain Merriman) ; club's trophy, 1st prize, K. Donaldson; club's tiophy, 2nd prize, R; Henderson. Members of the Rotorua Returned Soldiers' Association are taking a keen interest in the club and two of its members werfe present at -last Monday's. shoot. The Arawa Club are anxiously waiting fot the retiirri match with the returned men, and are certain they cah turn the tables next time. The following were Monday night's scores: — J. Martin, 117; P. Allen, 113; A. Ford, 111; W. Beamish, 116; R. Norman, 113; fe. Fairley, 109; W. Dohaldson, 114; H. Montague, 112; S. Carter, 107; F. Richardson, 114; R. Henderson, 111; H. Ford, 103; R. Price, 100.
