By Telephone — "Post" Special Service. WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Stating his opinion that the extraj dition papers were in order, Mr E. Page, S.M., to-day committed Duncan Stewart Reid to prison to await his surrender to the Republic of Columbia on a charge of theft as an agent. Reid was a bank officer in the employ of the Bank of London and South America at Barranquilla, and is alleged to have stolen about £2000. Mr Page told accused that he would not be surrendered for fifteen days from date, and has the right to apply for a writ of habeas corpus.
