another town nearly destroyed by cyclone

By Telephone — Post specicu. VANCOUVER, Monday. A message from Lopaz, Lower California, states that meagre^ reports from Santa Rosalia (Mexico) convey the impression that the town was nearly destroyed by a cyclone on Sunday and that a number of deaths resulted. The majority are stated to have been drowned in a flood which accompanied the cyclone.
