SYDNEY, Monday. The bodies of William Bashkell and his eight-year-old son were discovered in the Murrumbidgee River, near Hay. Their upturned boat was found some distance away. The police are now searching for Mrs Bashkell's body. The three were rowing across the flooded iver on August 17 when apparently the boat capsized. A dog in the last stages of starvation was also discovered at Bashkell's camp by the river side, but several ducks and pet parrots were all dead" at the camp. The dog was the only animal that survived.
