MISSING AIRMEN
FEARS FOR SAFETY TOKYO, September 12. There are nationwide expressions of sympathy and regret at the continued absence of news regarding the airmen Allen and Moyle who set out from Japan on a flight to the United States, and have not since been reported. The conviction is held that they have perished in a gallant attempt to conquer the Pacific.
