GRAND.
TO-NIGHT. "Packed with ' Thrills," a line f amiliar to the old melo drama of a bygone age, might appropriately be used to describe the heroic episodes seen in "Men on Call," Fox movietone dramatisation of the lives and loves of Coast Guardsmen, featuring Edmund Lowe, Mae Clarke, and William Harrigan, now at the Grand Theatre. In this super-realistic audible scyeen drama the line would be. absolutely correct, for real Coast Guardsmen and genuine- life saving equipment, Ioaned by tlxe Government, were used throughout the production. "Fair Warning," starring George O'Brien, tlxe second feature, tells the story of a primitive young man whose dexterity with a gun is only exceeded by his fighting qualities. He also possesses an uncahny influence over animals, because Ixe has no f ear of them. Because he is untamed he does not understand tlxe ways of men, nor of women. He is a kindly creature until aroused and then he becomes a ferocious, tiger-like wild man', relentless and merciless, but he always fights fair.
