WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Further charges in connection with attempts to defraud booltmakers were brought at the Magistrate's Court ; to-day against John Ryan, alias Sco- j bie Ryan, labour er, aged 47 years, and ! Ralph Antonovitch, labourer, aged ; 46, who were charged with conspiring together and with Alfred Jansen and John Maitland to defraud Charles Williams and Peter Healey of sums of money. Accused were remanded until September 16, and were admitted to bail, each on his Own bond of £100 with one surity of £100.
