SYDNEY, Monday. The trial of the 19 Communists involved in the Newtown riot when the police raided an evicted tenant's house on June 19, began to-day. There was a great crowd of idlers outside the Court, requiring a large body of police to keep them at bay. Fifty-nine jurors were challenged. The case has been half heard.
