SHANGHA1, Sunday. Chinese estimate that 1,000,000 were drowned by the bursting of the banks of the Yellow River at Kunghsien (Honan). The Grand Canal is again threatening vast areas of North Kingsu. Reinforcements are being rushed to the dykes.
