1IE GAUGHT HIS TRAIN. A hurly farmer laden with luggage •sought to push his way through the tieket harrier at the Spenoer Street railway station, Melbourne, two minutes hefore his train left. ; The porter told him he would have to get his luggage weighed and pay excess luggage on it. "Righto, mate," he replied, and went haok to the cloak room. A minute later he thrust a ticket at the porter and caught his train. The porter looked at the ticket. It showed 6st 121b, and on the back was the automatic weighing machine's comment, "You are cfear headed in emergencies." ,
