Gaptain Goke was author of "The Bending of a Twig," "The Worm," "The Pedestal," and "The Golden Key," and of a "crook" play, "One Hour of Life." For some years he was master at Clayesmore School, near Winchester, and he left a -subsiantial sum to 'the governing body of the school, "in recognition of its services to education in England."
