Sydney Bridge.

The first step was taken the other day towards the preparation of plans for the official opening of Sydney harbour bridge an March 19 of next year, at 10.30 a.m. The day will almost certainly be declared a public holiday. The Premier (Mr. Lang) will probably perform the official opening, according to an announcement on behalf of the organising committee which has been appointed to arrange celebrations befitting the historic occasion. The Governor (Sir Philip Game) is to be asked to preside at the opening ceremony, and to unveil a tablet inscribed with the name of the bridge, His Exeellency, it is expected, will also read a message of felicitation from the King,
