PRETTY WEDDING
DANNEFAERD— HOLLAND One of the prettiest weddings Rotorua has ever seen was solemnised in St. Luke's Anglican Church last evening when Beatrice Eugenie, eldest daughtef of Judge and Mrs A. G. Hollatld, of Carnot Street, Rotorua, wa3 married to Alfred Clarence, eldest son of Mrs E. M. Danpefaerd, and the late Mr Dannefaerd, of Arawa Street, Rotorua. The officiating minister was the Rev. J. W. Burley, of Matamata. The church was decorated with spring flowers, lycopodium, and laurel leaves. The bride, entering on her father's arm, wore a simple, ankle-length frock of ivory crepe de soie, heavily Swiss hand-embroidered. Her veil was hand-emhroidered, caught with orange blossom, and fell in a long train. She carried a sheaf of white lillies. The three bridesmaids, Misses Verena Holland, Marie Dannefaerd, attd Muriel Cooney, wore ankle-length frocks of satin marocain with vandyked waistlines, and leaf green felt hats, worn off the face, with satin shoes of the same shade. They carried shower bouquets of daffodils and primr'oses. The best man was Mr Ivor Phillips, of Auckland. Mr Norman Smith and Mr Wallis Holland, brother of the bride, acted as groomsmen. The ushers were Messrs R. Young and J. Spear. A reception was held after the ceremony at the Hotel Arawa. Mrs
Holland, who received the guests, wore a frock of black georgette and lace with a black hat. She carried a bouquet of violets and mauve violas. Mrs Dannefaerd, mother of the bridegroom-, wore cornflower blue floral chiffon with a Maltese lace shawl. Her bouquet was of grape hyacinths and forgetmenots. Miss N.. Holland wore rose pink silk net and Miss H. Dannefaerd, cherry red satin with embossed coatee to match. The guests included: Mr and Mrs E. P. Earle (Auckland) ; Mr and Mrs J. M.
