There were many Rotarians who knew Esperanto and they founded a special group with the view of proposing the adoption of the international lapguage for the Rotary Conference. This had been done in the last Congress at Vienna, of which information is available in the last Rotary pnblieation. Now, gentlemen, I fell sure that you will realise that the efforts of introducing "Esperanto into Rotary will not stop here, concluded Mr. Major. It will go on and on until every good Rotarian Will take the little trouble of learning Esperanto, which is ehsier than chess and opens the whole world before us. A real international spirit is hot possible because understanding is the basis of peace and harmony.
