SHENE IN A3SEMBLY. There was uproar in the Legislative Assemhly one morning last- week, when Mr Reid (National) suggested tbat steps should he taken to prevent a demonstration against the Ctovernor, which, he said, according to a statement in the Press, wouui take place 011 Sunday, says a t>ydney paper. "Like your— cheek," shouted a Lahour voice. Mr Reid aslced the Ac-ting Premier (Mr Baddeley) in ihe absence of the Minister for Agriculture (Mr Dunn), whether eonsideration could he given to his suggestion that in order to protect the good name bf the Governor,- be- would refuse to allow this " disloyal mob to hold its gathering." Mr Beid said he understood that the application had been made to the j Minister for Agriculture by Aldernfan ■ Garden (lahour).
