be only too glad; to take the next boat back to the Cdntineht. Chevalier accepts eagerly, and with? Claudette, her father and mother, sails for America. . , , * At the factory, Chevalier is put to work; work that would discourage ten husky men. But Chevalier sticks to his new job. with unbounded enthusiasm. However, in bis efforts to prove to Claudette's father that he is a corking good business man, he forgets to remain the ardent lover. Claudette is disappointed. And you can't blame her, for Chevalier even falls asleep at one of her parties. But if you know your Chevalier, you'll know that he doesn't allow his romantic and social errors to continue for too long. He rises fo the situation as . only he can, in a jolly, fast-moving rollicking climax that is a joy to behold. Of course, Chevalier sings in "The Big Pond." He introduces two new numbers, "You Brought a New Kind of Love to Me" and "Livin' in the Sunlight — Lovin' in the Moonlight." Claudette Colbert proves a deligbtful heroine. Miss Colbert was recently seen in "The Lady Lies." Others in the cast include George Barbier, Marion Ballou, Frank Lyon and Elaine Koch, a lpvely . chfid actress.
