BRIDGE PARTY.

Miss A. Searell, Matron of the King George V. Hospital, was hostess at a most enjoyable bridge party given for her sister, Miss Gladys Searell, of Auckland, and held in the Nurses' Home last Saturday evening. The decorations consisted mainly of Spring flowers. Miss Searell received her guests wearing a gown of cerulean blue floral georgette with an embossed bridge coat to match, while the guest of honour wore apricot georgette with a geranium panne velvet bridge coat. Progressive bridge was played, Mrs. Roberts winning the first prize, ,Mrs. Herrold the consolation prize, and Mrs. Bayfeild the novelty prize. The guests included: Mrs. L. A. Lewis, Mrs. S. H. Hay, Mrs. L. J. Bayfeild, Mrs. F. C. Bunyard, Mrs. W. S. Wallis, Mrs. Hitchcock, Mrs. J. H. Herrold, Mrs. Hitchcock, Snr., Mrs. D. George, Mrs. H. A. Goufiie and Mrs. J. M. Roberts.
