LAMBING SEASON

HIGH PERCENTAGE IN WAIKATO Favourable weather has prevailed during the lambing season at Rualcura. About two-thirds of the ewes have lambed in the last fortnight and there is a high percentage of twins, although the number of lambs born is not as high as it was last year. The sheep are in excellent condition. The season in Cambridge has also been a very satisfactory one for the district sheep farmers. The very early lambs faced very trying weather conditions and with the persistent rains and cold winds of early July there With the better weather of late the .young lambs have come along well.
