WOMAN TO WOMAN."
"Woman to Woman," which features Betty Compson, George Barraud and Juliette Compton, is the most heart-tearing drama yet to be seen on the screen. It tells of two women and a man; one wo^tnan, the man's wife; the other, the mother of his child. Commencing in Paris where a young English officer falls in love with a pretty cafe dancer and singer, the story moves to London- six years later, where the man is married to a cold-blooded society woman. He has lost all memory of the little dancer, but one evening at the theatre he hears lier sing the song that introduced him to her, and the past returns like a flash to his mind. He meets her and finds that she had a child, which is his. Then follow days of chaos, in which the hearts of the most hardened picture fans are moved to pity and awe. The elimax is unusual, and most unexpected. Having an English locale, story and cast, and directed by the British director, Victor Saville, the picture is as British as it is possble for it to be, although it was made in America by TiffanyStahl.
