BRITISH SUBMARINE’S FEAT.
GERMAN BATTLESHIP SUNK. . SERIOUS LOSS TO GERMANS London, Aug. 23. The High Commissioner reports that the British submarine E. 33 twice torpedoed a German battleship of the Nassau class, which isbelieved to have been sunk. [The Nassau class are of 18,600 tons, have a length of 452 feet, width of 89 feet, cost £1,835,000, was armed with twelve llin. and twelve 5.9 gnjjs, and carried a complement of 961 men].
