AUSTRIAN LOSSES AT ISONZO Received August 21, ll a.m. Rome, August 20. The official estimate of the Austrian lasses at leonzo between the 6th and the 16th August is 65,000, exclusive of 22,000 prisoners. AUSTRIAN ATTACKS REPULSED. GORIZIA PLUNDERED. Received August 21, 2 p.m. Rome, August 20. An Italian communique states: We repulsed attacks on the Assigno Plateau against positions on the right bank of the Assa and slopes of Mount Zehro. A wireless states that the Austrians, before abandoning Goriiza, plundered the museums and libraries and removed a valuable collection of medals.
