A hunter is a horse whose owner can produce at scales a certificate from tne Master of any Hunt (hat the horse has bean ridden to hounds during the past season, 1916, to the satisfaction of the Master, and has neither won nor is nominated at the date of entry for a race of £4O or oier (hack and hunter races excepted). PENALTIES. The winner of any race after the declaration of weights may be rehandicapped by tbe handicapper, RULES. All Races to be rnn under the New Zealand Rules of Racing.
