GRAND. NATIONAL MEETING. THIRD DAY. Per frees .Association. Sockburn, August 19. The Grand National Meeting is being concluded in fine weather. The going is fair. Results;— Aylesbury Steeplechase, 3 % miles. —Critic 1, Ikowai 3, Nita 8. All started. Critic had Ikowai’s measure rounding the turn and won comfortably by three lengths- Time, smin 13sec. Heathcote Handicap, 7 furlongs. Heeltap 1, Ringform 3, Goldenlyte 8. All started. Fabrikoff -led to ihe distance,. where Heeltap cam® through, winning by two lengths. Time, Imin 34sec. Hunters’ Plate, miles.—Compulsion 1, Bill Terry 2, Cron Park 3. Scratched: Tarehau and Koranga. Compulsion took charge six furlongs from home and won by a length. Tfme, 3miu 58sec. Styx Hurdles.—Sleight of Hand 1, St. Curio 2, Sartosta 8. All started. Won easily. Time, 3min 9 2-stn secs.
