STOCK REPORT,. Levin and Co., Ltd., report:—Our only sales during the week were at Feilding and Hunterville yards. At Hunterville we had a small entry of cattle, which sold at late rates. At Feilding we had a small entry of sheep and a full offering of cattle. The sheep market is slightly firmer than last week and we sold our entry nnder the hammer, prices being mostly in excess of vendors’ reserves The demand tor cattle was good for all classes except backward heifers in calf. Dairy cows close to profit were in good demand and prices were good. A small entry ol beef sold well. Quotations; —At Hunterville; Fat cows £9 12s 6d to £lO 17s 6cl, springing heifers £8 10s to £ll, small weaner pigs I3s to 19s 6d. AtFeildmg; Fat ewes good 28s 2d to 28s 6d, lighter sorts 24s 6d to 25s Bd, fathoggets 22s 6d to 24s 6d, fat wethers 3s 9d, mixed sex hoggets 17s to 23s Id. Cattle: Best fat cows £lO 17s (5d to £l2 os, lighter £8 2s 6d to £lO os, fat heifers £8 to £lO- 17s 6d, forward cows £6 5s to £7. Dairy cows on account W. A, Bell, best £ll to £l4 ss, others £6 to £lO ss. Account other vendors £7 10s to £l2, springing heifers £6 os to £l3, yearling heifers £3 10s to £3 4s, yearling steers £4 11s, bulls £5 to £6.
