We quota: —Sheep Fat ewes 24s Id to 275, fat hoggets 22s (sd, ewes in lamb 15s 6d, Cattle: ,3 year steers £7, yearling steers £3, springing cows’ £8 10s, to £9 Is, springing heifers £B, springing. heifers on account J. Kearius at £l3 18a each, heifers in milk £0 2s Cd, empty heifers £3 2s sd to £4 18s, fat cows £7 17s, forward cows £(5 Bs, bulls £6 ss.

Dalgety and Go., Ltd., report having a small yarding of catle at their Palmerston North sale on the 17th August, which sold as below : Empty cows£(s 12s 6d, mixed yearings, good colours £4 2s 6d, 15 to 18 month steei s £6 7a 6d.
