At a committee meeting ■of the Marten Miniature Rifle ;(Jlub on Tuesday evening it was decided to procure three silver fern leaves to be competed for by various teams of the club, selected by the committee. President A'. R. Bryce has donated a Rifle to be shot for simultaneously with the champion challenge cup, It was also decided to start the competitions for the medal presented by Rifleman R; I l ’. Wood on Friday, August 25tb. The conditions are five matches at three ranges with handicap 'the beat three to count for the Medal. There are also several other trophies to be fired for. Before the meeting closed the secretary stated that the Club was proceeding satisfactorily. A vote of thanks to the chair terminated the meeting.
