Oats, Aglerian feeding 3s 6d to Ss 7d, railing 3s 8d to 3s 9d, Tasmanian, white 3s lOd to 3s; barley 3s 6d to 4s, potatoes, Tasmanians £8 to £9 10s; onions £4 to £5, Adelaide, Aug. 17. Oats Is lOd to 2s; barley 4s. Melbourne, Aug. 17. At Ihe hide sales there were fair supplies. Lights and kips were unchanged. Heavies and others were dragging. LONDON TALLOW SALES. London, Aug. 16. At the tallow sales 456 casks were offered, but no bids were received. Quotations nominally for both matton and beef are fine, 50; medium, 46. Mesrss Dalgoty and Co. Ltd., report having held their Taihape sale on August the 16th, where they had a fair yarding of sheep and a small yarding of cattle. All lines were sold except one pen of 2 3th. ewes in lamb. Sheep: Fat ewes 30s, forward ewes 23s 10, . - Cattle: Cows in calf to Hereford Bull £ls Is.
