In the House of Commons Mr Asqnit was loudly cheered when replying to Sir E. Carson in reference to'®the murder of Captain Fryatt. of our fillies had suffered even grosser and more extensive brutality from the German authorities than ourselves. The Government was consulting with them regarding the best and most effective steps amt also what conditions should be exacted in peace terms in order to secure reparation which will satisfy justice. Mr Thorne asked ; “Is. the Government prepared to announce that the Kaiseris wanted for the wilful murder of FryattV” | Mr Asquith did not reply. * Lcrd Robert Cecil said the Government had been informed that Field Marshal Yon Weber, Governor of Montenegro, had issut=d a proclamation that unless Veshovitch, Montenegrin es-War Minister, returned and surrendered Veshovitch’s father and brother would be hanged; Official,—A newspaper has since announced that the brother has been ::au;:cd. hut tbe father reprieved.
