TERMS TO UNCLE SAM. TO STEADY EXCHANGE. Received Aug.l 7. 12.50 p.m. New York, Aug. 16. Morgans announce details of the British Loan, which will be dated from September Ist Britain gives the option to redeem the whole or part at thirty days’ notice, at 101, plus accrued interest until August 31st, 1017; thereafter at 100>£. Securities for three bunded million dollars must he approved by Morgans. It is understood that the Loan is chiefly to steady the rate of exchange.
