METHODIST “RALLY” TEA.
A happier gathering could not be wished for than the one that assembled in connection with the Roily Tea held on Tuesday evening in th c Wesley Hall by the friends of the Methodist Church. One has only to secure the interest of Hie ladies and all is well, and on this occasion they fully maintained the reputation they have for doing things well. The tables were loaded with a variety of tempting dishes, while vases of"”lovely spring flowers added to.the effect. ‘The tea gave an opportunity for making one another’s acquaintance, and must be deemed a great success. Following came n meeting which wasbrief and bright, speeches being delivered by Rev. Percy Keall, of Sanson; Rev. Coatsworth, of Halcombe; Mr H. H. Richardson, treasurer of the Trust; Mr T. T. Bartlett, circuit steward; Captain Fraser, Salvation-Array, and others, while those helping with the musical programme were Mrs Oobham, Miss BolcTaway, Mr Holdaway, Mr Allott and Rev. Rands.
