A Russian communique states that Bnkharoff’s troops on the Upper Sereth drove out the enemy from a series of fortified positions Our break through the Btrypa forced the enemy to abandon strong fortified positions at Tehorbachevs. We captured Gzorna and continued the advance westward along the whole front, reaching the Upper Bereth, and are now crossing to the west hank. Onr detachments who crossed Koropiec. in pursuit of the enemycaptured a strong position on the heights between the Koropiec, Zlotalipa and Kharovank. Continuing south the troops reached tne Dniester at Maropol. The advance south-west of Dolatyn continues and the enemy attempts to resume the offensive has everywhere been renulsed. One cTf Sakharoff’s corps has taken prisoner, between the 4th and 11th nearly 17,000; Tcharbachev, since the oth June, lias taken 56,000, and Letehitsby, between the Ist and the 10th took prisoner 10,450. New Zeaaud, Australia and Canada would be all together and not Ireland knock- t ing solitary at the door for Home Rule. She could never get it herself and needed federal company in trying to effect not only justice to Ireland but justice to all other parts of the Empire ’
