STOCK REPORT. Abraham and Williams Ltd. report on the clearing sale on account Messrs Gray Bros, at Upper Tutaenni on Thursday. There was an excpetionally large attendance of buyers from all parts, and the sale went with a good swing from the start. Everything offered was sold under the hammer at highly satisfactory prices. The following are some of the prices realised. 1040 2th to 4yr ewes r. w. . S.D. rams 35s to 36s Id, 125 2th to 4yr ewes with Corriedale rams 35s 3d, 130 4yr ewes with S.D. ram 28s 6d, 330 ewe hog - gets 29a Id, b ; f. hoggets 20s 3d to 22a 6d, mixed hoggets, medium', 19s to 2s, cull do 12s 6d to 14s 6d, 3yf steers £l3 as, fat bullocks £2l 10s, yearling heifers £4 3s, dairy cows £8 to £ll 2s 6d. Horses: Draught geldings £3l, £33, £42 10s, up to £46, aged do £l7 to £29,. draught-mares £27 to £47, 2yr lilly £lB, hacks and harness horses £5 to £ls. The farm implements and sundries, including grain and'seeds, eta., all found purchasers at good prices. The shearing plant made £lO6. N. Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. report:—At Palmerston North on Thursday we had a fair entry of both sheep and cattle. Competition for cattle was brisk. Sheep sold at late rates. Good mixed hoggets 22s Gd, small hoggets 12s to 15s, forward ewes 19s 4d, mixed yeai’r lings £2 Bs, yearling heifers £3 7s 6d to £4 Is, forward cows £6 Is to £7 14s, fat cows £9 8s to £lO, springing heifers £7 ss, dairy cows £6 15s to £9, pedigree Jersey cows 14gus.
