ACCEPTANCES for all' Events (including the Trial Hack Plate) will close with the Secretary at the Office of the Club, Mnrton, on TUESDAY, 39th August, 1916, at 9 p.m, DEFINITION OF A HUNTER, A hunter is a horse whose owner can produce at scales a certificate from the Master of any Hunt that the horse has been ridden to hounds during the past season, 1916, to the satisfaction of the Master, and has neither won nor is nominated at the date~of entry for a race of £4O or over,(hack and hunter races excepted). - PENALTIES. . The winner of any race after the declaration of weights may he rehandicapped by the handicapper, rules! All Races to be rnn under the New Zealand Rules of Racing.
