THE ADVANCE ON THE PLATEAU.
BRILLIANT COMBINED ATTACK. TWO LINES OF TRENCHES CAPTURED. London, 'August 7. The Central News says the Anzacs and Kents brilliantly made the advance on Pozieres Plateau in the direction of Martin piuch, cabled yesterday. They splendidly carried two lines of trenches and advanced two hundred yards over the plateau.
