ANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL. Public notice is hereby given that it is the intention of the Rangitikei County Council at its meeting to be held at Marton bn Saturday, 3rd levy General Rates under the provisions of “ The Rating- Act, 1908,” and Section 117 of “ The Counties Act, 1908,” upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property within the several Ridings of the County of Rangitikei exclusive of Town Districts to the amounts following : - Rangitoto Riding—Nine sixteenths of a penny (9.16 d) in the £ sterling. Otanapu Riding—Nine sixteenths of a penny (9.16 d) in the .£ sterling. Porewa Riding > — Eleven sixteenths of a penny (ll.lGd) in the £ sterling. Wangaehu Riding—Three farthings (fd) m the £ sterling. Rangatira Riding Eleven sixteenths of a penny (ll.lGd) in the £ sterling. Otairi Riding —Thirteensixteenths (13.16 d) of a penny in the £ sterling. Te Kapua Riding One penny farthing (l£d) in the £ sterling. Awarua Riding One penny (Id) in the £ sterling. Erewhon Riding—Seven-eighths (£d) of a penny in the £ sterling. The above General Rates are to be for the year commencing Ist April, 1909, and ending 31st March, 1910, and are to be payable in one sum on the 10th day of July, 1909, at the office of the Rangitikei County Council, High Street, Marton.
