WEBB v ARNST. Per Press Association. Wanganui, June 18. Mr R. Ooombes, editor of the Sydney Referee, visited Arnst’a camp this morning, and had a chat with the champion. From what the visitor eaw he is satisfied that Arnat is just about in the same form as when he won the championship. His weight is praotioailv the same, and he is sculling quite as well as in December last. Moreover, Arnat himself is well pleased with his prospects and very confident he can defeat Webb, though he fully anticipates a' hard race this time. Mr Ooombes says ha’was disappointed at Webb’s showing last race, in which he displayed nothing like the pace he did on the Parramatta. Webb is in his opinion now much Improved and has got baok bis old form. He is inclined to think Arnefc will win after a moat exciting struggle between the two bast scullers seen fox many years
