OROUA LICENSING COMMITTEE
The annual meeting was held yesterday at Feilding. Present: Messrs A. D. Thomson (chairman), E. Goodbehere, J Bruce, H. Woolven and W. A. L. Bailey’. ' Applications for renewals of licenses were granted as follows:—T. O’Neil, Feilding Hotel; H. Parker, Empire Hotel, Feilding; D P. Barrett, Manchester Hotel, Feilding; W. T. Hook, Denbigh Hotel, Feilding; J. Lukashefsi, Halcombe Hotel; Q. S. Brown, Rangiwabia Hotel; G. T. Witt, Royal Hotel. Bunnythorpe; W. S. Poole, Kimbolton Hotel; S- McOlelaud, Commercial Hotel, H. Field, Apiti Hotel; Hugh Roberts, wholesale liioense, Feilding, and Barrand & Abraham, wholesale license, Feilding. The license for the(Rangiwahia was granted subject to the drainage being attended to. ' The application 1 (for renewal of license of Cheltenham Hotel was held over until, the September meeting in order that the drainage maybe improved and a better water water supply provided! That for the Masonic, Ashhurst, was also held over until the same date on account of the kitchen having been declared insanitary by the Health Officer. Directions were given that the roof be made watertight, that a ceiling be built, and the walls cleaned. Martin Houlahan’e application for reenwal of the license of the Raumai accommodation house was granted subject to urinals being put in a better state.
