United Press Association.—By BleoTelegraph. -^-Copyright. Sydney, June 7. The Kangaroos defeated the New Zealand Professionals by 37points/to 20. OLD BOYS 11. v. HIBERNIANS 11. From Our Taihapo Correspondent. For a junior game a very fair exhibition was given. Neither aide had any advantage until near the end, when Healy scored, hut the kick at goal failed. Old Boys thus won by 3 to nil. For the losers McKinley played a safe game at full, and N. Boyne was the mainstay of the Old Boys. HUIA I. v. HIBERNIANS I. The ground was wet and there were frequent showers. Hastedt soon secured a try for the Greens which was not converted. Huias became active, but the defence was sound. McLeod started a passing rush and MoKearney obtained a try which was converted. After:halftime Hibernians secured another try, thus winning by 11 to, nil. The backs all played well, but McLeod was the mostjnotioeable. The following will represent Marton Football Olub on Wednesday, 9th inat:—Seniors against Hunterville, at Marton, at 3 p.m. :—Kelleher, Signall, Henderson, £'Marr, Outts, Dewar, Richards, Mclndoe, Oook, Halligan, Bishop, Hunter, Sinclair, Simpson, Delaney. Juniors against Bulls, at Bulls: Blair, Cummins, Pilcher, Allen, McGlynn, Miles,' Wilson, Edwards, McGregor, Maegaard, McOlaggan, Ingpen, Hammond, Temperley, Ilston. Emergencies: Hayward, O’Connor and March.
The juniors are requested to note that the coach will leave for Bulls at 1.30 p.m. A scrum practice will be held tonight in Siguall’s Stables at 7.30 p.m. It is important that both juniors and seniors shall attend.
