WEDDING.

SECOND EDITION.

BROOK—THORBURN. A pretty wedding took place at St. Stephen’s, Marton, on Wednesday, when Mr William O. Brook, lata of Tasmania, was married to Miss Ina Lillith Thotburn;' eldest daughter of Mr William Thorhurn. of Marton. The ceremony waa performed by the Yen. Archdeacon Towgood. B.A. The bride waa given away by her father, and was attired in a pretty Empire gown of cream lustre, with silk lace and insertion trimmings to match, and carried a choice bouquet. The bride was attended by her oousn, Miss Beatrice Thorhurn, who also wore a pretty Empire gown of cream silk lustre with trimmings to match, and black Merry Widow hat with large blue wing feather trimings. Mr O. M. Qronn, cousin of the bride, fulfilled the position of best man. After the ceremony relations adjourned to the residence of the bride’s parents where they were served with dainty afternoon tea. The bridegroom’s gift to the bride was a handsome gold muff chain with a locket pendant and the bridesmaid received a gold brooch. Later in the day Mr and Mrs Brock left for their future home at Marton Junction. Numerous wedding gifts were received.
