ANOTHER POLAR EXPEDITION.

News lias been received by mail that the Royal Geographical Society has decided to send an expedition to the Sonth Pole towards the end of this year, in charge of Captain Valentine Webster, who has contributed £IO,OOO to the cost of the expedition. It will probably be known as the Daily Telegraph Sonth Polar Expedition. It is especed to leare New Zealand, following Lieut, Sbaokleton’s route.
