Deakiu; Defence, Joseph Cook; Treasurer, Sir John Forrest; Attorney-General, P. M. Flynn; Customs, Sir Kobt. Beat; External Affairs, L. E. Groom; Home Affairs. G. W. Fuller; ‘Post master-Qeneral, Sir John Quick; Yice-Prfcsident of the Executive Oonnoil, E.fD. Miller; Hon. Minister, Foxton, In the House, Mr Deakin an- / nounced the *names of the new Ministry, and moved an adjourment tol June 3rd to enable the Government to formulate a policy. After a couple of hours of criticism of the coalition and the Cabinet by the Opposition, Mr Deakin’s motion was carried by 28 to 33. The Senate was counted out in discussing the motion to adjourn for three weeks.
WOMEN’S VOTES IN VICTORIA
United Press Association.—By Electric' Telegraph.—Copyright, Melbourne, June 2. It is calculated that of 328,000 women in the State eligible, not more than one-fourth secured electors’ right up to last night, Which was the last opportunity for enrolment.
