STOCK REPORT. Messrs Dalgety & Co., Ltd., report:—At our Marton sale on Tuesday, the Ist inst., we had a very fair entry of stock. We quote Small lambs 5s Gd.to 6s 4d, medium lambs to 7s 4d, small-mixed 3-tooths 8s 9d, mixed age ewes in lamb to 9s, fat and forward ewes to 9s 4d, 2-tooth wethers 11s to Us 3d. springing cows £4 12s 6d, small springing heifers to £5 ss.
At onr Raumai sale we had a fair sheep and cattle, fail lots offered being la good demand. Forward springing heifers ppd teed ooWs were eagerly sought after, prices for same being in vendors favour. Following is a .list of prices Sheep: Mixed sex woolly lambs to 8a 7d, medium shorn lambs 5s to 7s, 2-tooth ewes in iamb 13s, aged ewes in lamb 4s lOd. Cattle: Yearling heifers 255, 18-months steers £2 7s, empty 18-mtmths and 2year heifers £3 2s 6d to £3, forward springing heifers £4 to £5, forward springing cows £5 to £6.
