Ponltry was in large supply, with good inquiry and prices well up to later rates. For good table-potatoes there is plenty of inquiry but indifferent sorts are neglected. A large quantity of new saddlery, eto., .was sold and made good value. STOCK REPORT. Messrs Freeman R. Jackson & Go. report—At Wanganni stock sale on 26th we had a fair yarding, some of the sheep advertised not coming forward. However, we yarded 800 sheep, 480 head of cattle, and 80 pigs. The attendance was good. Sheep maintained late values and the bulk of the cattle sold before the day closed. Pigs sold well. Quotations;—Fat cows £4 to £4 Ss, others £3.15s to £3 18s. light do. £3 10s, forward empty cows £3 10a to £2 13s, store cows 30s to £2, empty, heifers £2 Is. 2>£-year steers £3 15s 6a, springing heifers £2 13s 6d to £3 10s, light fat heifers £3 7s, .bullocks £4 15s, 18-months to 2-year steers £2 4s, 2-year Hereford heifeis £2, springing cows £4 10a to £5 15s, others £3 la to £3 10s, heifers small £2 7s, veal calves 23si to 295, 18-month to 2-year heifers 32s 6d to. 355, mixed lambs 8s lOd, 2tooth wethers 10s 6d, fat and forward ewes 7s lid, store ewes 6s. 3d, medium lambs 5s 9d.
