FEILDING COURT.

H. E. Guy v.- L. Redwood, claim £2 7s (3d. This was a claim of £1 15s for carrying furniture from Feilcling to Apiti and the balance for taking Mrs Redwood in his brake to Feilding from Apiti.
The defence was that an offer bed been made to pay -the fare, but plaintiff had mimed to make a charge. In regard to the £1 Jsa, defendant pleaded that he had tendered the amount . Judgment was given for £1 15s, without costs. Mr Graham appeared for defendant. A. J. Kirkland v. G. D. Halford, claim £ll 18s 4d, for goods sapplied. Defendant denied having received particulars of account and denied owing more than £3. The books of plaintiff having been burned could not be produced. Judgment for plaintiff with £3 8s costs.
W. Clarkson v. Adrian Porter, claim £IOO on a promissory note given in part payment for a motor car, the total charge for which was £IBO.
Mr Graham for plaintiff and Mr Gillespie for defendant. After taking a considerable amount of evidence the case was adjourned till next Court day. Tawhai Emery v. Thos. Lawton, claim £l3 Os 6d for wages. Mr Graham for plaintiff. Plaintiff, a youth, said he had worked for defendant lor six months and produced a pocket book with a record of payments received. The defence was that plaintiff had received all that was due to him. Judgment was given for £lO, with £2 11a 6d costs.
