Members of the combined Unions employed in smelting works at Port Pirie with the advice of Tom Mann and other leaders have decided to accept the Proprietory Company’s offer to return to work.

A subsequent wire from Broken Hill states that a mass meeting of the combined Unions at the Barrier repudiated the Port Pirie Union’s decision There is a strong feeling amongst a section of the men at the Barrier over Tom Mann’s action On the other hand it is stated that many are desirous of returning to work on the Company’s terms. Another mass meeting will ba held today.
