Notice is hereby given that the Marton Borough Council will, at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held in the Borough Council Chambers, High Street, Marton, on Monday, the 31st day of May, 1909, at 8 p.m., make and levy the following rates for the period commencing on the first day of April, 1909, and ending on the 31st March, 1910; A General Rate under Section 78 of ‘‘ The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,” of 2s in the £ on the rateable value on the Valuation Roll of all rateable property within the Borough of Marton on the basis of the annual value. A Library Rate under Section 90 of ‘ s The Municipal Corporations Act, 1908,”,* of one penny in the pound on the rateable value on the valuation roll of all rateable property within the Borough of Marton on the basis of the annual value. Also, that both of the above rates •will be payable in one sum at the office of the Borough Council, High Street, Marton, on the sth day of June, 1909.
