APITI NOTES.
From Oar Own Correspondent
An operetta entitled “SnowWhite” was per.ormod by the school children on Wednesday night to a large and appreciative audience. The name part was taken in a highly creditable manner by Doris Berwick, whilst luewa Olsen’s iaaperaousEion ot “The Queen” was all that could be desired. Cecil Guy made a gallant Prince, and Leonard Gill, as the faithful huntsman, acted his part well. The dwarfs caused a great deal of amusement, and the various choruses rendered by the forest children were much appreciated. The stage had been tastefully decorated and looked very effective. A second performance will ba given by special request in a few months time.
A Choral Society has been started with a membership of 25. Mr Potts, of Kimbolfcon, is instructor, and is confident of attaining a fair 'amount of success with his pupils.
