“THE LADIES’ FIELD ” SAYS: “To deliver over a_ garment to the laundress with the | satisfactory knowledge that it 1 ; will be returned to you the same size seems too good to be true. Such, however, is actually the case with ‘ WOTSEY ’ UNSHRINKABLE UNDERWEAR.” LAUNDRY REPORT. The National Laundry & Carpet Beating Co,, 255 Ashton Old, Road, Manchester. Gentlemen, “I have tried my utmost to shrink the * WOLSEY ” Garments sent me to test, but after the most savage treatment they are still as soft and asdarge as new. I had them soaked in pure boiling {water for five minuted,- taken out and rubbed all over%dth hard soap, rinsed in cold water, put to boil in Washine Machine in hard water for 20 minutes, left over night in cold water, half wrung, and hung up to dry in heated drying closet. They were afterwards worn by the Engineer * for two weeks, washed in the ordinary way, and still show no signs of shrinkage. It would be an impossibility for any one to shrink the ‘ WOLSEY ’ garment. Yours faithfully, M. McLAUGHL A.N. WEAR “ WOLSEY ” Unshrinkable Underwear.
